Yaad 5ive Connect Logistics & Shipping

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Yaad 5ive Connect Logistics & Shipping, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

Yaad 5ive Connect Logistics & Shipping provides courier and logistics services including but not limited to:

  • Shipping services from the USA to Jamaica approximately three times weekly

  • Delivery services within Kingston, Portmore, Spanish Town, and surrounding communities

  • Workplace package delivery services for customer convenience

  • Community delivery coordination where applicable

  • Customer referral rewards program

  • Loyalty shopping points program

  • Warehousing, package handling, and logistics coordination

Yaad 5ive Connect reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipments are typically processed approximately three times weekly from the USA to Jamaica. All schedules are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier schedules, inspections, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Service Areas

Delivery services are currently offered within:

  • Kingston

  • Portmore

  • Spanish Town

  • Surrounding communities where accessible

Delivery arrangements may vary depending on location, accessibility, or operational factors.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

Yaad 5ive Connect assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors related to shipments.

Responsibility begins once packages are received at our US warehouse or by our team and ends upon delivery, pickup, or transfer to a third-party courier.

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor errors or incorrect shipments

  • Incorrect information provided by customers

  • Packages lost prior to reaching our possession

  • Delays or damages caused by third-party carriers

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

Yaad 5ive Connect is not responsible for damage caused by insufficient packaging by vendors, senders, or customers.

Fragile items including electronics, glassware, liquids, cosmetics, or breakable goods are shipped entirely at the owner’s risk.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure shipments comply with Jamaican laws and international shipping regulations.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives, hazardous, or flammable materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable foods without approval

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Prohibited items may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, clearance charges, and government fees where applicable.

Yaad 5ive Connect assumes no liability for customs delays, inspections, or seizures.

9. Referral Rewards Program

Yaad 5ive Connect offers a referral reward system for customers who recommend our services.

Referral benefits:

  • Are subject to qualification criteria

  • May be issued as service credit or promotional rewards

  • May be modified or discontinued at company discretion

10. Loyalty Shopping Points Program

Customers earn loyalty points for qualifying transactions.

Points:

  • May be redeemed toward future services or promotions

  • Hold no direct cash value unless specified

  • May expire or change without prior notice

11. Payments

Payments must be settled before package release or delivery unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods may include cash, bank transfer, or approved digital payment options.

Payments are generally non-refundable once shipment processing begins.

12. Claims & Complaints

Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery or notification.

Supporting documentation such as receipts or photos may be required.

Informal WhatsApp or social media messages do not constitute official claims unless acknowledged.

13. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages not collected within a reasonable timeframe after notification may incur storage fees.

Uncollected packages may be returned, disposed of, or otherwise handled to recover costs. Customers remain responsible for outstanding charges.

14. Cancellations

Cancellation requests should be made prior to scheduled services where applicable. Fees may apply depending on service preparation already completed.

Yaad 5ive Connect reserves the right to cancel services when necessary.

15. Amendments & Entire Agreement

Yaad 5ive Connect reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Yaad 5ive Connect Logistics & Shipping and its customers.
